Some friends and I are going to Omaha tomorrow for the champ series and were wondering what all we should do while we are up there besides go to the games. My brother and I have followed LSU baseball and the CWS since I can remember and its been a dream just to go and we are finally getting to go. We are soo pumped. Thanks for the input. :LSU231:
unless you already have reserved seats, be prepared to spend a large part of it standing in lines. a bit of a discussion on the lines, seating, etc, here... http://www.tigerforums.com/tigers-den/85931-just-gettin-back-eauxmaha.html once you get to the stadium and parked each morning, just be prepared to stay in the area for the day. traffic and parking are chaotic. the zoo is right next door tho ive never had time to go. there are lots of vendors for shopping up and down 13th street for those all important souvenier t-shirts. if you are only there for the days of the games, you arent gonna have as much time as you think because of the lines. if you are there with time to kill before or after the days of the games, im sure others will have tips on nightlife, etc.
we have reserved tickets for the first 2 games and GA for the third incase it's not needed and we are not headed back until thursday so we'll hopefully have time to do stuff besides sit in line.
