The REAL reason Putin is trying to take over Ukraine: Ukraine is a democracy. Russians and Ukrainians are closely related historically, genetically, linguistically. It bothers Putin to no end that a common Russian can look at a common Ukrainian and see a happier, freer version of himself. That must not stand.

So, how does Russia invading Ukraine hurt me? An attack on democracy anywhere is an attack on democracy EVERYWHERE. Besides that, I don't have to be immediately and directly hurt by an action to pick a side. I'm not A GREEDY, SELF-CENTERED child like you and your trumpian friends. I can stand against cruelty and injustice and support aid to victims without being personally affected. That's what a DECENT HUMAN BEING does. But you wouldn't know a thing about that because I suspect you were brainwashed as a child and have never grown.
