Just because someone is fighting Russians doesnt mean they want true freedom. The Afghans fought the Russians too. They hated our freedom. That area has been fighting each other for a very long time guy.

You forget (or maybe not) that the Ukrainian people have rejected Russia and authoritarian rule for independence and democracy multiple times by vote and revolution. The Ukrainian desire for western open society is strong and deep. A little historical note for you prideless. There was a Ukrainian resistance to the Soviet Union well into the 1950s.
