no. i am saying the evidence that putin and trump were close or allied at all is not there. russia was no more aggressive or ambitious during trumps term. i am trying to understand the claim that trump was in any way connected to russia in the context of reality. i am told repeatedly that trump has/had something going on with russia. but there is no evidence for this in terms of russian policy or practical outcomes for russia. if anything, the opposite appears to be true. so i think the rump russia connection was a hillary concoction that she filtered through an all-too-willing media.
