It's not there, as Kragthorpe has destroyed recruiting since Petrino left...however, even with last night's score, English has significantly improved Louisville's D. 2. It's fun to cherry pick facts like Rutgers starting 1-5, which conveniently ignores the rest of their games. Since starting 1-5, Rutgers is 6-0, destroyed a ranked Pittsburgh team 54-34 (was supposed to have a good D with the stache), destroyed Syracuse, destroyed South Florida 49-16, and destroyed Army. Obviously, they are a much better team now than when they started the season 3. Even given this, it doesn't change the fact that he had highly ranked defenses at Michigan (except the one year where he lost a lot of starters).
