The problem with hat woman, and the victim's spouse, is that once the "Resist" movement gets going, people will do and say ANYTHING to perpetuate the resistance. I doubt the spouse remembers anything about the call, she was going to meet her husbands body, and had to have been in some state of shock.

But that does not mean the hat women could not have filled her head with anti Trump tripe! It's what the "resistance" does.

Yeah, I do not know this is what happened. Just suspect such.

How is this even an argument? We KNOW from Trump's treatment of that disabled reporter that he has no empathy for people. Mocking a man with a congenital condition in a wheelchair should have been enough, all by itself, for decent people to disqualify that scumbag as a candidate.

And now, again this morning in a tweet, in so many words, Trump called Mrs. Johnson a liar. Why can't he just APOLOGIZE to somebody who lost her husband? A decent Commander-in-Chief would say something like "Mrs. Johnson, I am deeply sorry for any offense or pain I might have caused you."

Be a big man for once in your life, you orange scumbag.

Again, he reflects the populous he governs. Half the country doesn't respect him and he shows none.

That does not even matter. She very well could have already resented the Orange Shitgibbon, and that might have colored her reception of the phone call... although I doubt she's wrong on the specifics. But as the so-called commander-in-chief he needs to give the benefit of the doubt to the wife of a soldier killed in action. He would not have lost any face at all, and would have somehow even covered his sorry ass a bit, by simply saying "Mrs. Johnson, I am deeply sorry if I said anything in that phone call that adds to your pain. I did not mean to do so."

    Two thirds.
A "president" who does not show respect for two thirds of the American populace is not a legitimate one.
