And a thought about Byrd. Sometimes, he does look frustrated out there, but on the perfectly thrown bomb that he dropped, the SC defender made an excellent play on Byrd's arm. Otherwise, it was a TD, and the rout could've been on. Someone else mentioned that our offense didn't do so badly against the 3rd-rated D in the league. I think they were the 3rd-rated D in the nation and the 1st in the SEC. I watched the SC/UGA game, and Moreno didn't do nearly as well as Scott and (thank you, God!) KW did down the stretch. Stafford was also VERY ineffective. I have a good feeling for next Saturday. If our defense plays like they did in the second half, we can "get 'er done."
I know this is a reloading year for us! Cant wait to see ya. YOU ARE gonna be in luck. We are doing our normal seafood game for UGA. However after helping some friends cook oysters on the grill yesterday for SLUs homecoming I am gonna attempt them this weekend!
