Darn, I was really looking forward to the potential meltdown in Tuscaloosa regarding the rumors of Saban listening to WVU. Man that would have been entertainment!

West Virgina better hope not since it won't provide another oppurtunity for this new coach to slip up and call a black person a racial slur to that person's face...

Stewart definitely has the players behind him. He coached his way into millionaire status last night. Gotta admire that.

agree with this as it was my first thought. nice guys dont win often in this environment and he certainly seems like a nice fella, player's type coach. Mike Archer came to mind as does Lloyd Carr to some respect.

Can Ferentz be thrown in the mix?

there are some exceptions, of course, Petey Carroll with his abundance of recruits @ USCw which WVA isnt and LSU where Miles is nice but also insane which offsets it.

maybe this dude has a little bit of craziness. sure was hard not to feel good for the guy last night. then again, seeing stoops panic halfway thru the 3rd qtr didnt hurt things. what an idiot. i think his nervousness was reflected in mr. bradford the entire game.

he won 2, OSU was given one.

Did anyone see on ESPN that big WVU booster (Some dude who owns or partially owns the AZ diamond backs) he was NONE to happy
    Saying things like
"He is not equipped, nice guy but I fear for our future" etc etc
It was brutal, apparently he is one of the biggest "Donors" to the program.
Apparently he had someone else in mind.

I figured WVU had something big up their sleeves because everything was silent on their coaching front and it seemed they were waiting for the bowl games to end.

actually, upon further thought, this 5 yr, 800k contract sheds some insight on Rich Rod's problems with facility funding from the WVU administration.

low-ball city. curley hallman comes to mind. gotta pay to play.
