I thought we held Tebow et al in check pretty well last night. They only scored one illegal TD. We gave him a few extra chances and they still didn't rack up. I bet they don't want to see us again.
The other problem I have with his assumption is pretty similar- does anyone really think Florida plays offense like that once Tebow has 5-6 games post-concussion under his belt- Urban was obvjoudly holding him back to protect him- give Tebow half a season to get back to normal and they almost definitely get Two more TDs.
It all depends on how much the Florida offense was really stopped and how much of it was Tebow and Meyer holding back because of concerns of injury and lack of need- its not like the Gators had to open the playbook or anything- at this point I don't think we know how good Florida's offense is because no one is pushing their defense (the one team to score double digits against them did it with the game well in hand- so Florida just ran up the middle 3 times and punted) - I honestly don't think we'll know about Florida until either someone drops 20+ on that defense or, they have to play for a title (be it SEC or National).
yeah, and Urban held Tebow back against Tennessee too because Tennessee wasn't trying. we get it, if LSU does something good, it don't count. if LSU does something sh!tyy "I TOLD YOU SO!!! YOU SEE, DIDN'T I TELL YOU LES MILES SUCKS?? WOO HOOO LETS **** CAN THE ENTIRE STAFF!!! WE'RE DOOMED"
Wait- the opposite also seems to be happening- its the LSU offenses fault that they can't move the ball vs. Florida- so basically what you're saying is the defens estopped Florida's offense and the LSU Offense stopped itself- that makes no sense.
what are you reading? the LSU Defense held the Florida O in check, just like Tennessee's defense did. Florida didn't take it easy on us, and they didn't take it easy on Tennessee either. Our defense played well last night, give them credit. they deserve it. i have no idea what you're talking about with LSU's offense stopping itself. never said anything remotely close to that.
