1. That is a great point. The answer lies with does he have more talent with the Maggies than what he had at Free Shoes? Maybe not this year (and they do have talent this year maybe not in all the right positions) but after a couple years of recruiting what will it look like?

  2. He had a lot of talent at free shoes and the benefit of being consistently overrated at the beginning of every season...
  3. True, but how good was it? You have to ask did he have the talent to be top dog in the ACC, maybe enough to beat Clemson and the scheme/coaching was the point of failure? Did he?

Lets say he upgrades in talent at atm, is it enough to get over the hump in a more competitive SECW? I don't know. That is why I said time will tell.
  4. I hear ya... I'm saying he still has to recruit against us, Texas, TT, chokelahoma and okie lite just for Texas... I just don't think he's as good a coach as people are making him out to be... Like you said, time will tell...
  5. He has developed 3 national championship winning QB's. Matt Mauck, Matt Flynn and Crablegs Winston.

  6. Jimbo's got the #3 recruiting class in the Nation behind only Bama & Georgia, knows how to develop QBs, has a tie record against the mighty Dabo at 4-4 & has won a National Championship.
  7. GC was our oc in 2007... And like I said, look at his record for his other years at FSU... And this is in what some would consider a weaker conference...
  8. And about to find out that it's much much harder to get in the SEC CG vs. ACC

  10. Matt Flynn spent one season under Crowton and Jimbo taught him for four.
