No one on this board has to explain O's buyout to you or anyone else because nobody on this board made the deal. I don't think anyone on this board thinks this deal was good for LSU, but most of us here are, first, realists in that we know there is nothing we can do about it and second most of us are LSU fans, therefore most hope O's hiring will be an unqualified success resulting in many victories and championships for our football team. But, until the season starts, nobody has any freakin' clue how this is all going to play out. GEAUX TIGERS!

There is no explaining it. The powers that be are indeed that stupid. If he shits the bed his buyout should be supplemented with part of King and Alleva’s salary. He should have no buyout. I’m pulling for O because I’m an LSU fan but damn...they should’ve been fired when they presented that clause to the board.
I hope you're right, I live in Alabama and my son graduated from there, so you can imagine the $hit I've had to put with for the last 7 years.
