If we don't bounce back and win the last 2 games then I'll be pissed.

I've seen a team do NOTHING but get better, I'm pleased, and it even though we lost, LSU was the better team on the field last night.

How are your kids? Mine are 13 and 9, and I think yours are basically the same age, right?

Great post for the most part. I will never give up on LSU, I pulled for them since Mac and through the tough years. I am just tickled purple at the place we are now, I just hate losing to Bama like this. I started the night thinking we get blown out and was ready to accept it and have a few drinks. Then we got a few breaks and really looked good for 59 minutes and I was excited that we might just get revenge. Then all of a sudden we get a horrible PF penalty and the dominos started falling. Just kills me to lose that way. I have never been a fan of Chavis even when he was at Tennessee . I have always hated any Defense that is not aggressive . Twice against this team at home we have failed the same way with him calling our defense. I am thankful for the great defenses he has put on the field, but just like Les and his three runs and a cloud of dust mentality, Chief does the same in two minute defense. 50 seconds and no time outs, a good pressure defense, in bump and run with sidelines protected should even shut down Drew Brees. We have twice let this team drive down after we had them beat to steal it away from us. I support Les and his staff just hate watching them guys always come out on top.

What game were you watching? The defense played very well.

I know the D played lights out last night. I said the LSU players out played the Bama players. Bama won because of coaching. I was saying that LSU lost because of the prevent D. Last week against Ole Miss, LSU was attacking at the end. Against Bama they gave them the final drive exactly like two years ago. The scheme is on coaching.
