very pleased with the team and the game. $hit happens. without the injuries its a likely LSU win. this team would beat bama and uf more times than not.

i was hoping for crisper passing from lee. and the DL still cant get through (except hairy nevis once.)

the only bad part was clm. no excuse for that decision. cant fix stupid. but ill take the good with the bad.

For anyone wondering. Peterson had issues with hydration because as Red said, he was sick during the week. I believe it was in one of the papers where it said he missed practice either Tuesday or Wednesday due to flu like symptoms.

Hydration issues on Saturday does not mean they forgot to properly hydrate on Saturday, it is a product of Hydration issues throughout the week.

I don't know, dude. I have been waiting for Ryan Baker and Kevin Minter to get some playing time at LB since they arrived. They both fast and real big hitters. Kelvin Sheppard is listed as a Junior anyway.

The going for 2? It was an excellent call and the right one, IMO.

Even missing the two, if we would have made the interception, then a touchdown and extra point would have won the game.

Going for the two was not a bad call and one can come up with a good argument both ways.

Frustrated is a good word. In my case it reflects hope not expectations. And I wasn't frustrated for long.

Anyway, the real point is that LSU will be in the hunt EVERY year. And for those of us who remember otherwise and other decades, that is a fantastic place to be.

LA Tech will score points if LSU isn't up for the game. And Ole Miss and Arky are dangerous. A lot of season left

ive assumed its been discussed to death in some thread but...
it is stupid to do in the third quarter, regardless of the outcome. the only way it may be the right thing to do then would be if you know your O has no chance of scoring again. with so much time left in the game there are too many possessions left for a coach to know how important the 1st or 2nd XP are.

clm's mad hatter persona is great when its based on confidence in the team, but its stupid when its not.

I agree. 10-2 followed by a bowl game victory is still a great year. Yes, we have great talent. Yes, some of that great talent is still waiting to be revealed. But the main point is how far we've come since last year in several areas. I think that, should things continue to progress, bama and florida will be sad that they had to play us next year.:geaux:
