I wasnt in for the UGA game this week. My neighbor, close friend and Arkansas alum are doing the former coaches tour this year (IE He is coming down to Baton Rouge with me for the Bama game) Anyway I went with him up to Arkansas Ole Miss game. his dad is an ex walmart exec, so we sat in his luxury box. Although its like watching a game on TV, I was able to watch the LSU vs UGA game on the TV in there, needless to say the endless supply of booze came in handy. I can tell you that is a great way to watch a football game in a luxury box although its kind of sterile. I was to comfortable its like watching TV. Although it was cool that ESPN's Chris Mortensen was sitting next to me in the box next door, apparently his kid plays at Arkansas and he lives there. But sitting in Leather chairs all warm with an endless supply of food booze and private pisser. thats nice.... I can tell you its a beautiful stadium, the campus is really nice with the rolling hills and fall foliage. its a great place to watch football. Since I was in the box from 2:30 on watching the LSU game on I didnt get to take in the tailgating that much but it seems a bit more passive then what I am used to. Ole Miss has some speed but Arkansas gave that game away. Arkansas got SCREWED big time at the end of the game it was a shame the refs ruined the game, Pigs got called for offensive PA on the 15 with a minute left. Bogus call. anyway I really wish LSU vs Arkansas would go back to Fayetteville. Its a really neat campus and stadium I was impressed and Little Rock is a dump. Although everyone knew I was an LSU person everyone was very nice, except I heard a few "When will your coach pronounce Arkansas correctly" and they didnt take kind my "R-Kansas" comments. But it was a good time, if you ever want to experience a nice stadium and fan experience that is a pretty neat place.
I hope you enjoyed it because by next year Obama's going to have about 30 Wal Mart cashiers in that suite.
