I just watched my Saints Superbowl dvd. This definitely has not been the same team. The passion that pumped through the players' veins back then is practically nonexistent today. And regardless of what anyone else thinks, I thoroughly believe it has everything to do with Sean not being on the sidelines. Not to mention their broken spirits with all the off-season drama that took place. These players, even with counterparts missing need to WANT to win again, and they will. Until they muster some desire to win, like they did in the Superbowl XLIV season, we'll be constantly reminded of the old days. We should also keep in mind that the Saints lost 3 games at the end of the 2009 season, before winning the big game. I know, that is different that losing the first 3 out the gate. Still... I'll remain optimistic.
As a Saints fan you should be looking towards the draft...3 games in and looking towards your heisman trophy winner of this year. And trade Ingram while you can still get a lil something for him.
We don't have a 1st round pick this year I thought, I know they mentioned there is a chance we get it back.... I am hoping we see a turn around like the Giants of 2011... We will end strong, very strong. I can't believe we keep playing this bad.
This team really needs to draft better. Mickey Loomis has been money in Free Agency but has really picked some busts in the draft. Linebacker Linebacker Linebacker. And the loss of Nicks is really hurting this offense. Be cool to see the Saints switch to a 3-4 and draft Mingo as an outside linebacker in the 3-4. Man.....
Ingram was a bad pick because he sucks. Pierre Thomas is money. They should have seen that long ago and drafted accordingly. And paid him.
exactly, one was an undrafted free agent, the other they actually gave up picks to move up to the first round for. I can't believe there are actually people who take tailbacks in the first round. It's a fucking waste, and all in all just bad business.
I don't Twitter, but a Facebook friend who does reports that Joe Horn is twittering about a source who says Sean Payton's suspension will be reduced to 8 games. Yes, I got this from a friend of a friend of a friend.
