Who said they looked good? The got shredded through the air in the second half. That doesn't validate your statement though.

I'll make sure that tigerforums.com makes it more clear that all submissions to these forums should be "validated" and opinion-free, thats my bad bro.

You said that you are convinced Chavis doesn't know anything about football. That's quite clearly a foolish statement and one that hurts my ability to take you seriously.

You can be critical of the team without making unsubstantiated claims. Or can you?

You don't have a leg to stand on here, so you may as well STFU.

Wow, it's just a forum, don't take it so seriously. When I said he knows nothing about football it was a very obvious exaggeration. Might want to calm down there chief. Lol, this is cracking me up. You should be in bed anyways little fella, you don't want to be late to school tomorrow.

I think the point is - when you make an extreme statement (negative or positive), expect to be taken to task on it.

Happens almost everytime. And, when done well, it makes this Forum the best in the Tigersphere.

I entirely agree, but there is a balance to be made here. To take full advantage of his amazing return skills, he needs to sit more on defense to save his breath and strength and to regain them after a long run.

On the other hand, he's an All-American DB who needs to play defense for LSU's sake and that of his own NFL future career. Speaker of that career, playing two roles increases the chances for injury which can also impact his future career badly. On the other hand taking both those skills to the NFL will put him in the first 5 players taken this year.

It's going to take a careful effort to maximize his time on defense and on special teams while minimizing injury potential. Ultimately nobody can do that better than Peterson himself. If he has a good feel for avoiding overconfidence, avoids unneeded heroics, and awareness of how the game is playing out, he'll do fine.

But we do need to develop another good return man to come in when we are way ahead and relieve Peterson of that duty and save his legs.

I expect to see a lot more directional punting away from PP.

    Ryan, don't waste your time.

Luke is one of the biggest LSU ass kissers here. If you say ANYTHING negative about LSU, then you're a moron that doesn't know anything about football and you're not a true fan.

I agree that it's ridiculous to suggest that Chavis doesn't know the game of football. Those were your words. If you get called out for your hyperbole, that's to be expected on a forum.
