Well.....it's here......The Official OFFSEASON SUCKS Thread

Don't get your hopes up my man lol. This is the time of year I use to fish. Guess now my saturdays will be spent with the girlfriend, man I can't wait until Sept.

 

Hey the Saints are still playing for at least another 2 weeks.

Starting Wednesday Carnival Season starts.

Baseball is right around the corner.

And before you know it it will be fall once again!!!!

 

Wait, hold everything, not quite yet. We got to get your SEC brethren The Crimson Tide to the promise land. This is no time for indifference or misguided apathy.

I believe as far as the big cosmic force of life, every positive emotion is important. The season is far from over, if we pull this off there will be rejoicing in the land from Huntsville to Mobile, from Shreveport to Lafayette.

It is time my friends to rally like you've never rallied before. Bowl season is fine but you knew going in that "Two would be for One and the rest just for fun."

 

I'm an LSU Football guy only..unless you have started LAX. Hope to see some good positive posts on the recruiting thread. Other than than, you boys enjoy your baseball, fishing and gumbo or whatever.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the forum this season. I never knew being called an idiot could be so much fun.

The season ended on a sour note. Perhaps the spring game will shed some light on what's to come in 2010. It will be interesting to say the least.

Meantime, I'll support men's and women's basketball, baseball in just around the corner, and didn't the softball team sign the nation's top recruit?

Well, yes the off season is here for us. We have eight full months to bang our heads against the wall. Or we can:
-watch baseball
-basketball....yeah not my favorite either
-look forward to Spring
-Summer vacations and sweating
-follow recruiting
- Or perhaps the best in terms of logistics...fix everything perceivably wrong with our house/apartment/car/job/significant other/significant secret that we keep from our significant other/whatever else may be screwed up so it doesn't interfere with next football season.

I think I'll watch baseball:grin:

 

I disagree with the argument that the offseason sucks.
Its no different than fall, winter, spring and summer, that kind of thing.
I'm looking forward to watching less tv, little basketball and baseball.
I watch too much football.
This means I have more time for my guitar and other things that get neglected in the fall.
I will look forward to football season next year probably come July.
If you feel that bad about it you should get a hobby or something!

 

Like he said off season sucks. This might be the 2nd time I have ever pulled for the freaking horns. No matter how futile it might be.

Not a huge Baseball fan but I will keep track but for the most part this is hibernation for me, with the exception of reciting ( and going to church every Sunday praying for GC to find another job). :tigereye:

 

I gotta admit, the last two seasons and the prospect of another year of Miles is making the offseason suck a little less for me.

Plus we start USSSA baseball practice Saturday, so I got something to do until the end of June anyway.
