On another board we use to get bs from WV fans because "there spread offense was better than our spread offense" LOL Love that stuff. I'll tell you the fans that talked a lot and then diappeared for the Ducks were Michigan fans. We were being told we couldn't compete witht he big boys, we couldn't compete with the great tradition of Michigan, we couldn't compete with the mighty Big-10, we couldn't handle a crowd the size of Michigan's 100,000 and that we'd just fold like the pretenders the said we were. 2003 At Autzen: Oregon 31-27 2007 At "the big house: Oregon 39-7 2007 highlights including the two statue of liberty plays. Howdy I have been a Duck fan for over 40 years, saw my first game at Autzen Stadium in 1970. I am looking forward to the LSU-Oregon game. I applaud both teams AD's for having the guts to schedule such a difficult OOC game. The winner will be in the driver's seat for the race to the BCSNCG. LSU has a history of scheduling tough OOC opponents and it's one reason I respect their football program more than others in the SEC. Because it is a opening season game, it's very very very difficult to predict. College teams change so very much in the off season. Players leave, players transfer, players get better, so who knows what will happen? Look at Auburn last year, Cam Newton came from from nowhere to dominate college football, and Nick Fairly went from mildly above average in his junior year to unstoppable in his senior year. I do know that both teams are very good, and Oregon has a recent history of uber offenses and LSU has a history of uber defenses so its a great match up. I have no idea who will win.
That 2007 game was one of the most enjoyable games I've watched. I despise Michigan and lived 35 miles away from their campus for 4 long years of my life. I was a duck fan that day
Everything went right for Oregon that day! I still cringe thinking about what could have been that season, had Dixon stayed healthy. Doesn't that backfield remind you a bit of this year's backfield?
Went into Neyland and gave the Vols the worst beating in that stadiums history in front of a packed house. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4G8MKh55-Lg"]Oregon vs Tennessee 2010 Highlights‏ - YouTube[/ame]
Of course Tennessee was a 6-7 team last year . . . 11-2 LSU is much more like Auburn, a team that Oregon failed to get past.
Point 1 - We're not bragging about beating a team with a losing record. Point 2 - We also played Auburn on the road and they barely won.
not bragging just proving a point. someone on here said oregon cant win in big stadiums or whatever and auburn beat oregon by a field goal so whats your point?
