I would have a search of viable candidates first off. He went after 2 guys for a year and neither wanted to be here? Talk about inept.

Wasn't to you specifically. I get it the fans will rally behind the coach and not whine like the bitch that I am. But it's groundhog day with this admin. We knew how this would play out. It's always bait and switch while the fans pay for and deserve better. I'm finally taking a stand. But yeah I like O and will support him. I just want alleva and fking to suffer a horrific death in the meantime.
If your top 2 candidates are candidates that don't want to be at your school, then you aren't qualified to be AD. If your top 2 candidates are playing you it's your job to sniff this out before the last week of a year long search. Reiterates how unsuitable Alleva is for the job of LSU AD. Besides these blunders, I'm highly skeptical either of these two were good choices for LSU even if they begged to be here and offered to work for free and shine Joe's shoes every day.
Sometimes things happen the way they do is because they were meant to be. Coach O is our coach is because it was meant to be. No other could be more loyal and more proud to be the coach of the LSU Tigers than Coach O! The way he turned this team around I would not dismiss the possibility of them making the playoffs next year. If he had been our coach from the beginning of the year they would have had a much better shot of being in the Top 5 as predicted IMO.
Surprising that after your own predictions that a lesser guy than O gets the job, (preparing your mental capacity for the obvious outcome from the same myriad of administrators), comes with an emotional outcry far exceeding that of one (KOD) who believed the better selection would be made and it simply not happening. This is more of the same. It's groundhog day homie and your frustration exceeds the low bar you set for yourself leading into this thing. You should just accept the fact that Miles is no longer here and that your sig will have to wave for at least, another season...until the next groundhog day.
Hey I get it. It seems I'm not a coach O guy when in reality I was one of his biggest defenders of results on the field this year. I like the guy and would take him over tier 3 fedora or whatever scrub was on their list. I'm simply sick of the ones we pay to do a job always failing spectacularly. And without shame. I wish I knew how to hold their feet to the fire. They have failed the university over and over. How they are still employed will remain a mystery to me.
I will be more excited when Alleva is canned than I was when waterhead got the boot to the ass. And that's saying a lot.
