LSU has a rule that says that 3rd test is up to 1 year suspension. Not that it has to be a year but I think it is in this case. I see TM testing the draft waters.
According to the rules TM wouldn't be awarded a scholarship again unless he submitted a negative drug test. Since he isn't under scholarship he wouldn't normally be subject to randon drug screens but Miles could as for random screening as one of his conditions to be considered for reinstatement in the future. If he was still under scholarship he would be subject to high frequency random drug screenings.
I hope TM can work out his stuff. I think he ends up in the NFL next year. I would love to see him in a Tiger uniform one more time.
If it is in his power to do so, I hope Miles will make very frequent and random drug tests a condition for consideration of returning in the future. Mathieu needs to show he is willing to follow very strict guidelines.
I think he'll test the draft waters and when he finds them to be lukewarm/cool, if reinstated, he'll play in P&G next year. There are millions on the line for him, not to mention endorsements and film rights. This isn't just about football. It's not just about stardom either, but he has a great chance at both if he plays his cards right.
Why would we wish that on anyone? We're all nice people here. It'll be very interesting to see how much he really wants to get his head on straight. If he's doing this with the intent of snowballing Les until he's reinstated, he ain't gonna make it for an entire year. Addicts don't have that kind of discipline.
