So, I'm not the only one that thought that...I figured I read it wrong...several times.

Senior moment, head some where other than shoulder, distracted by Corso, all of the above.

    OK, clear as mud.

This is the question. Yes or no.

    Q) Can a participant change his picks, as long as the game he's changing hasn't started?

    Yes or No?

I don't know that we've ever addressed it. The thrust has always been the deadline to submit the picks.

Personally, I don't have a problem with it as long as you send me a PM so I can update the picks.

Does this mean I have to change my pick back to Penn St?

It means this week you are disqualified. It means you have just open yourself up to a lot of headaches if you start allowing anything after closing time. But you do as you think best.

Well, I agree that since we've never discussed it, maybe it needs to be addressed. But to be honest, I think it's widely understood that...after closing time...you can't TOUCH your picks. Hell, I guarantee with some of these Thursday deadlines, there have been times I wish I could've changed my pick due to injuries that I didn't know about...but it was too late. I never even considered asking...because it seems obvious that a deadline is a deadline, period.

It's been joked about the last couple of weeks about folks making their picks so early. Clearly, the reason why that was brought up is because it would seem wiser to wait until the last minute to get all the facts. But hell, if you can change your pick after the deadline, what difference does it make?

    +1

What's done is done, I guess but if it were me I'd set a deadline and stick to it. This isn't for money and sometimes I see picks I think are crazy and guess what...you got it. Point is, in addition for not being for money- few picks- if any- are "locks" anyway to eff it. Pick it and get.

Seems like it would simplify your life as far as putting the stuff together. I really appreciate you keeping up the running totals. We used to have to post our score and the event promoter would have to double check anyway. Most weekends I don't even keep track and wait for your total- I trust you completely.

People have already been left out for a week because they were late. It would be wrong to change now.

Well I guess we'll hafta refund their money. :hihi:

I don't think anything is changing but the ones who are late wouldn't want to "run" the game either so phuck the slackers. I missed the first week so phuck me too.

CO got crossed up tween his two pick 'ems. I believe him because it's not like it doesn't show if an "edit" is made and I know he wouldn't have done it trying to be dishonest knowing it would be obvious. He's been here a long time and his reputation is nothing less than top shelf on here.

I buy his story but I'm not on a board overseeing this so if anyone feels differently speak up or move on. If it happens again with someone else it can be...well, IT BETTER NOT.

Hey, I am just razing Co about the edit. I know it was just a brain fart. But It is a pain to run this thing and it gets worse if you start letting people in late.
