Style points and negative commentary. Can't believe anyone would confuse that for thinking a loss to Towson.

I expect Towson will show up in LAX gear.

In regard to the Bama schedule. My daughter goes to Western Carolina. I told her she was confused when she was telling me about the planning going on for the sorority trip down there. Just could not believe it. WCU is in the same league (caliber) as Towson, except they don't play LAX.

The Saints all pro Jermon Bushrod played for Towson.

Show me any non SEC team that has a harder schedule than LSU. It won't exist. The simple fact is the SEC is a powerhouse and it's a gauntlet to make it through our normal conference. OOC games are irrelevant for SOS because we already play the toughest schedule in conference of any school.

You don't see anyone in the media crying about LSU or Bama's OOC games because they know. This makes two years in a row the SEC has put a whooping on a "National Champion Contender" in the first game of the season. All that did was make the talking heads not be able to puff up other conferences by playing hypotheticals. They ost likely want weak OOC schedules so they can act like there's a chance for non SEC teams.

I have a feeling that the SEC is not gonna be "all that" after LSU and Bama this year.

Recent powers like Florida, Tennessee, Arky and South Carolina aren't going to be as good as last year. Georgia will remain the same, but they're a distant third though.

Arkansas and South Carolina are going to be a handful this year, I think.

We could have scheduled Savannah State. Although, Towson isn't much of an upgrade.

I'm not sure about that just yet. Arkansas' defense looks very suspect, and with the turnover at the top in the off-season, it's too early to determine whether or not that bites them. In a couple of weeks, I think Bama goes into Fayetteville and humiliates the Hogs.

South Carolina is always pumped up as a contender, yet can't even make the SECCG (in a relatively weak SEC East, as of late.) The Gamecocks never can seem to turn the corner, and having Spurrier hasn't helped to that end.

I watched both UGA and Florida on Saturday, and they both looked weak--though Florida was far worse.

Regardless, it's always fun to see an SEC season unfold. Even in a year when some of the powers that be look "down," we're still the cream of the crop.

I didn't confuse it. That stuff just doesn't matter so I didn't take it into account. If LSU beats Bama, no one is going to give a shit who they played OOC.
