It isn’t LSU football’s fault the state is a damn mess. Rather than the Governor saying stop working so hard, you’re making me look bad, maybe the state should work harder/smarter to be more like LSU football. However, it does look like some powerful people are trying to change football in the image of our state.
I was talking LSU football with someone I knew from Abita. He was fuming about the players and the coaching in a game we won. I told him he was taking it too seriously if he was really that upset. He said that he expected perfection. I told him that I didn't believe him. (I'm a smart ass). I said if you did expect perfection, you'd expect it from yourself and from the education system and from the political system. And if we all did that, we'd be living in Utopia. But last time I looked around, we're all stuck up to our necks in the mud of Louisiana. Lots of stinking muck and mud in our state. Football is one of the bright spots.
Sounds like he has too much time on his hands if he is going to away games and horsing around with the team. Get your ass back to running the state and fix that mess. I think he can’t do the job he was elected to do, so he wants to make an impact so he can feel like he did something. Public entities have no business shaping the private sector. Government regulations is what stifles growth, let business flourish by leaving it alone.
Y'all are funny. If current POTUS had said it you'd be all on board smacking his ass with his magazine covers. A Dem you don't like says it and he's meddling. End of the day neither would have said a damn thing that makes a difference in coaching salaries. The irony is just a few weeks ago...for several days straight no less...you guys were complaining about coaching salaries and buyouts.
When you hire Oregeron, there should be a cap. When Satan comes around, you sell your kids to hire him.
If Ronald Reagan himself had said it I would still say STFU! I never said it. I don't care how much money they spend as long as we win. I must not be one of "you guys."
