I feel sorry for the guys who go to Florida St. I mean i dont know what happen to that program. they always have talent, but not character and they dont do a great job of developing their players.
Honestly, I think Coach Bowden did the program a disservice by staying for so long. I spent a bit of time on the Nole board this AM and the mood is subdued to say the least.
still waiting for ESPNU to talk about LSU's class probably missed it but the have Matt Barkley the top QB next year that has already committed to USC which I think will help their class out b/c what some players make decision based on" I wanna play with that guy" etc. amongst other things. Plus for him he reserved his spot.
It certainly made an impact on Jr WR De'Von Flournoy. He committed after a Junior Day Meet n Greet this past weekend. One of the comments he made was that he wanted to be on the receiving end of Barkley's passes. Of course he only started playing football as a sophomore but ended that season averaging 31 yards a catch. :lol:
That ranking system has been formally dismissed by the presiding Internet committee due to the last President-elect, Mike Dubose.
I was listening on XM radio today and they had the dude who wrote the book Meat Market on. He alluded to the fact that FSU always has 6 or so recruits every year who never see the field because of grades. Somebody had 11 that didn't make it (I think it was Miami, can't remember now).
