we pulled a really impressive class this year. The number of FL players is only going to get better, in years to come. 2009 is shaping up to be a very strong LA class. This year Bama wins the Paper NC recruiting title, beating out the hopeless ND. We shall see what Paper Godzilla can do with JJ and a few good players, this year...
Well none of this means anything if the players do not develop. As a Bama fan I'm excited today. But after today it's time to put that POTENTIAL TALENT in the weight room and on the practice field and develop them. But as for 2/6/2008 I'm very excited about Alabama football.
Bama National Championship next year or in 2010. No doubt! Don't be surprised if Bama wins the SEC in 2008. Nobody develops players like Nick Saban -- call him "The Superbowl MVP Maker"
I don't think 2008 will be nothing more than a eight win season at best. Most of these guys coming this season will not make a "Sam Bradford" type impact. I think 2009 will be the season you'll see a definite change in Alabama football. I don't think we'll win a NC in 2009 but we'll be putting a much better product on the field. NC's are hard to come by.
If RP stays for 2009, LSU has to be considered the favorite to win the SEC West and be a MNC contender.
