Why don't you do us a favor and attempt something physically impossible. I'll interpret if necessary.
Along with a lot of people, I said that LSU was a better team than Alabama. I'm not falling into that trap again
Most of us were talking 2-3 losses when this rodeo started. A bunch of smart fuggers it would appear.
Saban got outcoached during the Ole Miss loss. All of the talking heads were saying why didn't he just run Henry. They tried to get too cute which resulted in the turnovers..
well Bama would assuredly be out of the running, no doubt But Florida would be ahead of LSU in that scenario, so you better hope Florida loses to Florida State. I don't see a conference getting two teams in. So in the scenario where Stanford beats ND and then loses after that, then LSU slips in to the 4 spot. Then the committee is left to decide if a 10-1 (where is McNeese State when you need them) LSU team deserves to be in the final 4. My guess is a lot has to happen. It's Iowa, for God's sake. Ohio State probably wins out. Michigan and Michigan State both have something to say about that. So you figure either Ohio State or Michigan State is in. And if they end up with 1 loss and win the Big 10, they will be ahead of LSU, no doubt. I don't expect Iowa to continue to win out. It's just not going to happen. Then Clemson looks to be cruising in. North Carolina is their only obstacle. Dabo Sweeney is their head coach, so anything is possible. Then there most likely an undefeated team coming out of the Big 12 (they have 2 undefeated teams right now). Worst case is a 1 loss team, but they suffer from not having a CCG and no declaration of a conference champ if there is a tie (how idiotic is that system?). Get your goddamn act together. Then there is Stanford and Notre Dame playing each other, with the winner being firmly entrenched in the final 4 for all intents and purposes if they win out. Of course Stanford could easily beat ND and then lose their CG. Very difficult road to get there sitting at 10-1 and not having won your own division, much less your conference. My guess right now: 1. Clemson 2. Big 12 Champ (Ohio State, Michigan State, Iowa) 3. Big 10 Champ (Baylor, Okie State) 4. Stanford or Notre Dame This is considering your scenario of Bama losing the SEC CG. This also projects Florida losing to FSU. I don't expect any conference to get two teams in. So if Stanford were to beat ND and then lose after that, I would fully expect LSU to slip into that #4 spot.
