Just curious how many agreed with this statement, and how many did not.

I'm not ready to say that just yet. It'd be on the level of what Auburn just did firing their first year OC after only a handful of games.

We are not in panic mode. We'll see how good the DC's are throughout the year before anything like this should be asked.

1 loss doesn't mean all is lost. Let them drop a couple of games at least before we start calling for heads.

From a philosophical standpoint, there's nothing wrong with Pelini's 'scheme'. It has worked well for us - when he was running it. But, we're not executing it, from neither a coaching nor player stand point. I don't think we're blitzing nearly as much (probably to protect a young secondary) and when we are blitzing, it's not disguised well and is easily picked up.

I'm not a fan of the dual DC and would prefer if we had a known guy running the show, like a defensive equivalent to Gary Crowton.

No, it's a rather dumb idea IMO.

Scrap the co-coordinators but not the scheme.

Doug Mallory & Brad Pevoto came up with the gameplan for the National Championship game. Pelini was there, but he was pretty candid on channel 2 in Baton Rouge about that.
