Mount Cody will not be 100 percent if he's back at all...and BTW, Georgia was number one against the run in the SEC until last night. It'll be a challenge to run on them, but that's the game we're going to have to play.

And they haven't started too fast in the last couple of weeks. I think their depth is getting to them. They have a loss or two coming, and one will be us. I believe Auburn has a shot if they completely abandon the spread crap and go smash-mouth SEC football on them...like they do best.

    But I've been wrong before.

Tirk, that's really funny - but here's a sad tale.... I work with an Irish fella who was really disappointed when we told him there was no apostrophe in Obama's name. Dude actually was gonna vote for the Irish! (Don't know where he stands now.):geaux:

We can beat bama, but it will take 0, and i mean 0 turnovers to do it. I don't care if Lee goes 10 for 30, as long as there are no TO.

We will have to outscore them, obviously. But there will be so much emotion in that game. And that alone could win it for us. Look at the Saints first home game after Katrina. I don't think any team in the NFL could have beat them that night. I hope history repeats itself in two weeks at Tiger Stadium.

I think we need to use our awesome runningbacks and just pound the ball. Don't let Lee throw it more than 10-15 passes and keep most of those short. Just keep pounding the ball and tell the defense to play up to their 4/5 star talent.

    Terrible post.

    Colt McCoy as a freshman:

    2570 yds 68% 29 TDs 7 INTs

Not good? That's better than most seniors.

Let's not let our love of the Tigers allow us to use erroneous information to try and prove to ourselves and to each other how "good" someone is or, in Lee's case, isn't.

When Pat Dye came to Auburn as HC a reporter asked him how long will it take for you to beat bama. Pat responded "60 minutes" and kept his "promise".
LSU can do it in 60 minutes too. I'm not a coach but I believe with the big back you have the way to run on bama is to run straight at them. They are too fast for the run wide and cut back up approach.

That won't matter. As soon as LSU has momentum in pounding the football, they'll start throwing and eventually have to punt, or Lee will throw one of his signature pick sixes. It's been the trend all season and there have been absolutely no adjustments thus far. Whether we like it or not, we ARE a one-dimensional team, but these coaches think Lee can do what Flynn did.

I have lost nearly all confidence in the coaches and think our only chance of winning is if these players get tired of being embarrassed, man-up and play their butt off. My faith is in the players, not the coaches.

Gosh, CajunPunk, the sky isn't falling in my neighborhood........

It's a sad thing to lose hope and confidence - I still have a good supply of both if you're running that low.

It seems to me that as competetive as CLM is, above all other games he'll want to beat Bama. I HOPE he can pull it out! Bet the farm he'll pull out all the stops. He's as sick of that "Saban's Players" garbage as all of us put together. :geaux:

I still have hope/confidence in Miles, but the defensive coordinators and Crowton's inability to stick with what works has me very low. The sky fell two weeks ago and this week.

Again, it's not that we expected an undefeated season. We expected losses, but we expected a team that had competitiveness and tenacity. Other than what Scott and Williams have provided, there isn't any this season.

No one wants to see LSU beat Bama, while ruining Satan's (I can't stand the guy) season, more than me. I just haven't seen any improvements/adjustments from the coaches to believe we stand a great chance. Both good teams we played made us look silly.

If Scott is THE gameplan, we have a great chance of winning. But...
