Do you know where the kid's mom plans on going to college? Do you know if perhaps she will end up living close to him with their kid? Do you know if his choice of going to michigan could be the better choice for him, and his kid, long-term? Have any fathers ever worked away from home? What about thhe countless civilian workers in Iraq right now making double and triple pay? Are they lacking class because they are leaving their families home while they better them financially? Who knows, if Jai really does go to Michigan, it could actually be the best choice for him AND his kid in the long run. Of course most people only think about today/now. :dis:
You're jumping to conclusions...Do you know his plans? Are you sure that he's just ditching his kid to go play at Michigan? If he's stayed until now and been a father, I doubt he just up and leaves his child. Give the dude a break.
You guys think you're down about Jai...I was really counting on landing Spikes. Damn, I guess that Andre Smith is our last hurrah for a big-time player... Please God...Oh please God...
Careers support families. College football doesn't (or are you suggesting that Michigan is paying him?). Comparing the two is asinine. If Jai plans to bring his his kid and its mother to Michigan that'sa different story, but he's implied that they are staying in LA. Even if they stay for only one more year that's one year without a father that doesn't benefit the kid at all.
I am saying that maybe, just maybe, in his case going to Michigan will give him the best opportunity to get to the NFL. So maybe that choice is better in the long term for his family. We do not know, time will tell. Sorry you are so slow and needed to call my comparison asinine. At least I was kind enough to spell it out for you with the details in this post. Chill dude.
If the situation was reversed and he was coming from Michigan to play at LSU, none of you would even give a crap...
