Not true and you know it. Almost everyone here has come to grips with the fact that we probably wont shoot the lights out this year. It's never what, its how. Good post by the OP, not busting his balls. He is free to his opinion and I'm sure many agree with it. I'm not far off but I think we beat Miami. It's all good.
Not all are free to their opinions, and you know it. This board needs opinions of all types, and suffers when people are ridiculed for their ideas.
Chicken Little says, "look how far we've been passed" when thinking about LSU and the '18 season. I don't feel that's the case and one sentence here defines why I think this way although you may have not meant it this way. You, along with most here, can look at the schedule for this fall and see how LSU can win. Each week you'll be able to say, "we can beat this team if 1)...., and 2)...That's a lot different than looking at a game and knowing there's no way LSU can win ala a Kentucky team, or Vandy. That's different than some of the opinions we've seen guys portend.
I mean really, if I knew what was going to happen before it happened I'd win the damn lottery every week. Simply not the case.
How did program slip so much at running back? I can understand the drop off in receivers. Elmer's Commodore 64 offense finally caught up with him, but hells bells, Charlie, running the football is only thing we wuz good at.
Equally interesting question - how many passes does Foster Moreau - the kid being promoted as John Mackey, Dave Casper and Jason Witten all rolled into one - actually catch this year? I say 14.
