No, you can't handle the fact that he had a bag game, and has otherwise shown significant improvement over last year. Even still, his presence on the field still helped our running game open up a lot tonight. By your logic, Lee "still sucks" too, because he had one bad game.
He has been much better this year no doubt. I thought he would play well tonight. I was wrong. Hopefully he will be ready for the game of his life
He was definitely out of synch on his throws, but it's not reason enough for me to think that he's totally regressed to his old ways. I also thought that we threw it too much in the first half, especially on 1st down. Regardless, it's undeniable that our running game is more effective with him in the game.
He just missed key passes. The deep shot to randle on the first series was badly under thrown and late. I don't remember too many that were even well thrown. Agreed on the running game being better with him in the game but when you play as poor a half as he did I'm not sure it matters. I think he will be ready. It's one bad game and les didn't really let him throw it too much in the second half did he?(stat anyone?) Anyway, I think he is ready and balls out in the NCG
I agree. JJ has bounced back from much worse adversity than this throughout his career, if you can call a 42-10 ass-thrashing in the CCG "adversity". . . Besides, even the JJ haters say that he's good when he has extra time to prepare. I ain't worried.
