I never understood the way Bama Fans feel the need to defend JJ's actions, or comments. He's not the Savior of Bama football, or the next coming of Jerry Rice. I doubt seriously that he wants to play with SJP at QB. He loves his state, and like Saban's Shared NC ring. But can't watch those terrible terrible games SJP had all year. It's the lack of wins, and the struggle at QB that have him dreaming of the Tomahawk Chop down in FSU.
I dont think he is a lock either hence why I said "seems like a lock". :yelwink2: It is discouraging to think we have dropped the ball on him. I dont care if we think he is a lock or not, we still keep in contact with someone like this who is in our recruiting hot bed. Another thing he said about Alabama was something like "they will be OK when they get a throwing QB". Im not exactly sure what he means by that but its obvious he doesnt think the current crop of QB's at bama is up to par. I dont see bama with a big time throwing QB recruit so who is going to throw the ball to Julio? How bout Ryan Perriloux? He said it bro. I heard it with my own ears. If its not true I dont know why he would say it but he did. He does sound like he is vulnerable though. He may be Bama's to lose but I think he can be plucked with the right recruiting. He isnt going to get many passes from Sarah Jessica Parker Wilson. He would be better off here.
You realize he will only play one year with Wilson, dont you? And shared NC? Time to turn in your LSU card...
And That's the problem, one year with a sub par QB, then it's 3rd Sting Nobody's. Well Saban's the enemy now, so I down play his ring. Not our two Glorious NC's!
I realize you dont follow Bama's recruiting, obviously, but they have an Elite 11 QB commit and most likely one from a top 100 next year. Your argument does not really help out LSU either, or most schools for that matter.
You are missing the point, Obviously.. FSU has more Talent at QB now, and after signing day, than Bama will have with any Elite 11 2009 or 2010 QB. Im not making a point in hopes that JJ reads this and decides to come to LSU or any other school for that matter.
