A wad of dirt.... usually with a consistency like mud.... What's a "dip wad?" Same thing except Skoal or something?:grin:
LOL, no I don't think for a minute that we "played possum". As others have mentioned, I think the O was kept vanilla and uncomplicated for several reasons, but you just can't do that on D. Will we get better on D? Absolutely, I just hope its like night and day from what we saw this weekend.:geauxtige
LSU has had its "come out flat" game and survived it. Now we must watch out for the "trap game" and the "letdown game".
Hey, we weren't trying very hard either. I don't know why but I suspect we that we don't want to give too much away before we play USC in 3 weeks. The Pac-10 is what really counts for us. Did you notice Sarkisian going through some funny signalling -- it looked like a passing motion and then pointing at an LSU linebacker (#54 I think) -- *right* before Locker threw it *right* to your guy, and *right* where he couldn't help but catch it, and *right* where he couldn't help but score? And did you notice Husky players mysteriously falling down with no one near them whenever #80 got the ball? And they just rolled, maybe even dove, to the ground whenever #7 even touched them? Where were the all-out blitzes, including the secret "kitchen sink" stunt we were supposed do on defense? Where were all the triple reverses we practiced? Where was the statue-of-liberty, swinging gate and fumblerooski? What happened, Sark? Something fishy was definitely going on Saturday night. But if the goal of the game was to gain yardage, but purposely not score points, then we executed to perfection! .
This is the best post in a long time! He pointed out how ridonkulous these excuses look...and he's spot on.
This topic is...well, ridiculous. Sure we are probably better than we looked but to imply we did some of these things on purpose is nuts. :insane:
Indeed. If Les' Intention was to drop in the polls, he did a fine job. He wants to be under the radar.
