Auburn also isnt #4 in the country with BSC dreams. Auburn is clearly in a rebuilding mold right now while LSU had very high expectations this year.
By you, maybe. LSU started out at 11 or 13. They managed to keep winning while everybody else was losing, thus the high ranking. I think a lot of us had high hopes for the season but the consensus was 2 losses at best and 4 or 5 losses at worst.
Fact is LSU still had high expectations compared to Auburn. Not just by me but my most fans. A two loss LSU team probably makes the BCS. Also, as mentioned I expected anywheres between 1-3 losses this year. Although I feel 4-5 is too much for the talent level here. Even so if we play well and lose thats fine. But we arent at all improving, thats the bad thing.
LSU broke the home field advantage last year, but the favor can be returned quickly if this team don't improve.
they've also given up points to cupcakes really, 30 point to Ball State? anyone who as actually watched college football this year knows that they are probably the worst team in Div1 a whole lot phucking worse than USL (no, it's not even close, so don't even try) Ball St didn't score 30 on North Texas (possibly 2nd worse team in Div 1) and New Hampshire (1-AA) COMBINED!!!! (yeah, Ball State lost both of those games) oh, let's not forget that whopping 3 point lead they had late in the 3rd vs La Tech. and for those who fell asleep before the ending of the Auburn/WVA game, thank the mountaineers QB for those 2 cute lil interceptions to wide open DLinemen in the BACKFIELD during the 4th qtr. sorry to disappoint, but Auburn ain't better than us. i realize that is a disappointment to you ledge jumpers, but it is the truth. Auburn ain't better than Ole Miss, or Bama, and probably not better than Arky. Also looking like UGA is gonna beat them as well. ok, i'll add the most important stat for you W happy now?
Which was the point of my original post. We will battle Auburn for 3rd in the West. Class dismissed...
if by very comparable, you mean not at all, you're 100% correct Auburn has yet to get on a bus and cross campus, let alone play a road game. LSU has already been on the road twice (and logged more air miles in week 1 than Auburn will all year) let's look a lil deeper Auburn's 4 opponents thus far have combined for a whopping 5 wins (only 1 vs Div 1 teams) That's right, so far only Miss. St has actually beat a team from Div 1. LSU 4 opponents have combined for 8 wins (5 of them against Div 1 teams) all of LSU opponents thus far have logged a win against a team from a BCS conference. save your breath, my response is located somewhere in the "Time for Miles to go" thread
