I swear there is a memo that goes around to college students that says if you don't like something, protesting it will make a difference. :hihi:

 

But you know, that's what makes students great. They still think they can change the world.

 

Ok, I've only been to one game this year, but I am pretty sure that they didn't extend playing the fight song after a score... Did I miss something.

Also, there has never been a lot of time between plays and I'm pretty sure that that most of the cheers between plays go with the songs.

Now I do know that they have started playing songs instead of the the "ow ee ow" to try and drown out the students and present a positive image of LSU.

Some students need to get over themselves... really.

 

For Miss State, they played Long Fight after a TD or two. So not extended... Just not the shortened song.

That would be the equivalent of saying the Alma Mater played in pregame is the extended version of the Alma Mater played after the game for the team.

 

This the same students who voted to make a fake rivalry name for the Ole Miss game?

I think I have your respect in a box around here...oh wait, you don't have any.

 

Sadly, there was no vote whether or not to have a name. It was a "Vote for the name of this 'rivalry' because we have no choice."
