Of course not but that's not what he did. He threatened to ignore our treaty obligations. At best he's extorting the other NATO members. He is also signaling to Putin (whether he knows it or not) that the Baltics are fair game. He makes our allies like the Poles and Germans question our resolve. It weakens NATO at a time of resurgent Russian aggression. It's not like a business negotiation. If Trump becomes president his trend to non involvement in world affairs create a vacuum into which the Russian and Chinese will flow. It will be a much less stable and more dangerous world.
