Again, the point is being missed here. If a 6 year old said it, then the message is challenged. Even I would chime in and say well then. This dude starts a thread and states from his heart that this is the best team period and what, he is slandering? If you think any less of yourself then less is just what you are gonna find. As a fan if you can take a beating and still get up and state we are the best well guess what, he and I alike are fans that refuse to quit and that is the message. 30 years later it is the same message. One must take negativity and turn it into productive, Legacy did just that. He deserves respect for that and if the statement confuses you or seems to be a bit 6 year oldish, ask, cause you know damn well it was not an invitation for negativity. Spin the words to find negativity are all you will find is negativity. My message is that there is plenty of negativity to go around, why dump on a guy who is trying to present a positive never quit, never die attitude? LSU played like sh!t yesterday and guess what, I got up this morning and put my Tiger sweat right back on and went to the store. It is that simple, you get back up and fly your flag. That is what Legacy did.
Initially, his post comes across as homerish, but I know what you are saying. I wear my LSU hat every day, no matter what... :geaux:
WOW!!!! When you can't still show your love for your team just because they are having a bad season, that is just sad. When there was a time that we only won 5-6 games in a season I still believed we were the best. I not so sure some of us deserve to be Tiger fans.
I still wear my colors everyday and anyone that doesen't or that BOO's the team should have to turn in their fan card. LSU is having a bad year, but it could be alot worse. If you can't handle adversity you need a new passtime. We WILL be back next year, write that down!:tigereye::geauxtige
This is getting good. I understand what the guy is saying, I still wore my LSU hat yesterday. Im not ashamed of this season by any means. Because guess what, Florida lost 4 games and a bowl game last year with a heisman qb on their roster. We have a redshirt freshman and a true freshman, going though the gauntlet this year. We will be just fine, we are still the best team in my heart, on the field has been different. But our potential and talent is undeniable for years to come. We will be back next year, to settle some scores.
