It's the truth. If you want to live in denial and agree that we are the best damn team in the country, then go ahead. Stating the obvious truth is not defecating on anything. I have nothing against being positive but let's at least be reasonable. We aren't the best team in the country. If we want to be the best once again, the first thing we need to do is admit that we aren't. Then we need to identify our problems and put together a plan of action to correct them. Living in denial isn't going to solve a damn thing. There's a difference between being positive and having your head in the clouds.

And there you go once again. Let me try this one more time. This thread was intended by a Tiger fan to Tiger fans to remember to be Tiger fans in a very positive way. There is plenty to to dislike over how this season has been played out but to vent in a thread designed to be positive is overachieving in negativity. You see, as most of us Tiger fans will agree, it does not matter if we are undefeated or last in the West, we are the best team in the phuckin nation period. Thick and thin, hard or soft we remain the same. NO ONES head is in the clouds here. Reality sets in that 08 just ain't it but DO NOT sh!t on a positive message regardless of how you feel. If Les Miles banged you mom (sorry TB, I owe you 1) and promised you a scholie while he was banging her and later reneges, perhaps there is a good reason to bitter up what was intended to be positive. Did Les Miles bang your mom? Otherwise you owe the man who intended a positive message an apology. If you don't like hearing a priest praise humanity, you don't stand up and say "your phuckin nuts", do you? You wanna piss and moan, take you pick or even start a thread of your own. Frogleg has no excuse as he remains confused over which end of the turd he is but you have all the opportunity in the world to redeem yourself.
CLiC, I understand what you are saying. I really do. I can get negative about the losses, but saying that LSU is the best team isn't exactly being honest. If he prefaced it by saying that LSU is the best team to root for, they're the best team in Louisiana, they're the best team with the tradition we have, etc. he wouldn't have gotten such negativity. But just saying, "LSU is the best team ever" or something leaves people believing that he thinks LSU is the best team on the field and can beat anyone... and this year, they can't. I'm glad this thinking didn't catch fire in the Hallman or Dinardo years. Best team to root for because we bleed purple and gold? Yes. Best team on the field? No.
