I'm an openminded person...tell me where I am wrong. New York is still standing as far as I can tell and there has been no Muslim invasion. Where is the threat from the Muslims? Please tell me where....how about we check the people on the planes and spend money on airport security instead of shipping half the country over to the Middle East. We are asking the military to fight wars that are unwinnable under the current political correctness b.s. that has infected the country. It is ridiculous. Either fight to win or don't get involved. Half measures help no one.

Get real man, the people in Afghanistan couldn't give a rats ass about what happens in the US. But you and I do. Why don't we get our house in order and if anybody wants to come into the US we find out who they are. Why wouldn't that work? How many Americans have committed terrorist attacks? Why don't we just do a better job of screening who comes into the country where we have a defined boundary and limited access points?

Do you really think we are going to make the Afghan people into democracy loving Westerners?

Most people don't actually want to look at the big picture but would rather fear monger. Our downfall will come from within not from outside.

But don't worry we will keep spending a trillion dollars a year fighting a group of people with no army or navy. The FED Reserve will just ramp up the printing press again.

 

I hate to say it but I do agree with Rex and flabengal when they say that our biggest threat now days is from within.
Sadly, I do believe our biggest threat IS now our own government!

Its funny that some people believe that we should chase these people around the globe?
We don't have the resources to go after those scattered around the globe!
I don't get it, we need to protect our own borders for the more immediate threats to the country, borders, etc.
While we have troops in Afghanistan and Iraq these terrorists can come in the back door and blend in among us just like the 9/11 hijackers did.

I for one do not.

 

There is a common sense remedy for that: You ban and reverse Muslim immigration. No Muslims equals zero probability of Islamic terrorist attacks.

It’s what GWB should have done post 9/11, instead of doubling the size of the federal government in response to 9/11 via the Department of Homeland Security and the National Intelligence Directorate, which created more levels of federal bureaucracy and was in reality incredibly counterproductive, and which not only doesn’t make us any safer, but is also bankrupting us at the same time.

And in case you think it is racist to ban Muslim immigration then please point to a country where mass Muslim immigration has occurred where it didn’t turn into an unmitigated disaster for the host country.

Moreover, Islam in addition to being a religion is also a form of totalitarianism where no freedom is allowed. For instance, without exception in every Muslim country in the world non-Muslim dhimmis and Muslim women are systematically persecuted and often violently oppressed.

In addition, like Communism before Islam also seeks world domination, which is why it started a war with the USA that it is winning. Hence, like Communism was before, Islam also must be defeated.

Therefore, allowing millions of Muslims to immigrate and infiltrate our countries is analogous to allowing millions of Communists to immigrate and to infiltrate our countries during the height of the Cold War. If we had done that, it would have literally been suicide. Yet, that is exactly what we are doing today when we allow millions of Muslims to flood the West via mass immigration.

 

The Muslims will Islamize us long before we ever democratize Muslim countries. Nevertheless, pursuing a selfish anarcho-isolationists foreign policy as you and other Ron Paul kooks advocate would not only ultimately lead to our destruction but also to a world dominated by totalitarianism, as no one else but the USA is available to lead the world in defense of freedom and democracy.

We can easily defeat Islam without democracy building or nation building, as we can disproportionately crush them at will with our superior military power. Fighting insurgencies is exactly the wrong way to fight Islam. We should target the head of the snakes, the House of Saud, the Gulf States Emirs, the Iranian Mullahs, the Iranian poodle the Syrian regime, etc. and ruthlessly eradicate them one by one. Look at what happened to Qaddafi after Reagan bombed him to hell.

We should also take control of their oilfields, because they are using the profits derived thereof to foment worldwide global jihad, and that is something the free world should not countenance.

 

and how do you propose this be done to many islamic nations without starting another world war? do you not think that russia and china would step in on behalf of arab nations, causing all out global conflict, and with more than just the islamic countries?

and as far as the house of saud in saudi arabia, they are the one thing keeping the country from completely falling to the rulling mullahs. they are in a tenuous position already. granted, it is a hardline country, but would be 10x worse (imo) if the clerics were allowed to competely take over.
