True and even worse is 10U when kids are just starting. Catchers drop a 3rd strike that should've been an out and would've helped a young pitcher. Instead, assuming they reach 1st, they have to pitch to another batter and they get a 4, or 5 out inning. I remember one night my youngest (10 at the time) had 12 strikeouts but only recorded 5. Can you believe that? See how that can change shit? The dam catcher kept dropping the effing ball so it wasn't a K. Sadly, several of them reached so it wasn't even an out; hence, the crazy number of K's. Only reason I recall is that an opposing coach came up to me after the game and said my daughter had struggled. lmao.
