How can they possibly afford that many stars on their roster? Are they paying the last few guys on the bench in chickens?

It's a one year deal and I don't know for how much. Not sure what else you could expect from a gump? I've never done this but I hope someone Patchula's his ass.

It's for $5.3 million. Why would he take so little when he could have gotten a max deal from somebody, maybe the Pelicans or maybe not but leaving $20 or $25 million on the table is a huge risk if he isn't fully recovered or maybe gets another injury. He may not have commanded a supermax deal with the question marks about his achilles but he could have gotten at least a guaranteed $100 million or more.

Just plain stupid. I could see it if he got a lot more money but why do the Warriors even need him?
He will be one of the lowest paid players on the roster. And for what? A ring worth a few thousand dollars. I hope he ends up pawning that ring because he's broke by the time he hits 40.

There is no more competitive fire in the NBA, makes me respect Westbrook so much more.

Magic, Bird, Dr. J, Michael Jordan. Sure they made a lot of money but they would have killed to beat the other guy.

No way he was going to get anywhere close to that kind of money coming off an achilles injury... Just read where he had zero offers and actually called the warriors... He'll probably play half this season, get a ring and prove that he's healthy enough to demand a max deal...
And as most say, this generation just want to join the winner instead of beating them... Buster Douglas wasn't shit but he'll forever be remembered as the guy that knocked out Tyson...
