Still don’t understand how Delpit is on there. Dude was straight up bad until he got his mojo back against Florida.
from Dandydon .... Arik Gilbert What you’ll see is a young man with an exceptional combination of size, athleticism and speed (4.7 forty) that makes him a mismatch against virtually any defender. Not only is he widely regarded as the top TE in a recruiting cycle full of elite TEs, many are calling him the best tight end prospect in the last 15 years. With Gilbert and four outstanding receivers committed to LSU – five star Rakim Jarrett and a trio of four stars – you have to imagine that Steve Ensminger, Joe Brady and Myles Brennan are among the happiest people on campus right now. Gilbert is expected to be a December signee and an early enrollee, according to 247Sports. And get this: Next year’s team could feature five players who were ranked No. 1 in the country at their position: No. 1 TE Gilbert, No. 1 WR Jarrette, No. 1 WR Terrace Marshall, No. 1 RB John Emery, and No. 1 CB Stingley (not to mention No. 2 CB Elias Ricks).
I am most excited to see Ricks and Stingley play together. I am 100% confident that Ricks will play like Stingley has this year. It’s going to be a nasty secondary.
He says the process is over. And luckily now we no longer have to hold our breath until February. He'll be in the fold come December.
At this point, I’m actually excited for December/February. I’m wondering what other surprises O and co. may have in store for us.
Gotta a couple of top 50 players in the nation that we are in play for but currently not the favorite. At this point that's meaningless as we are carrying significant momentum towards the finish line of this recruiting season.
I think we’re getting a commitment from a pass rushing DE next month (Donnell Harris). Just give me Zach Evans and this class is set.
This is the weakest O line haul I've ever seen us have, although last year was one of the best hauls we ever had, so wasn't necessarily a position of need. We have only 1 guard committed, a 3 star. This Louisiana kid named Dumervil is a strong 4 star OT, a must get at this point and assumed to be going to LSU.
