    This is my logic:

He was thrown into a situation last season that made it impossible to succeed. Lee wasn't ready for that. NO QB is ready for that as a freshman, but he gives LSU a chance to move the ball.

Maybe he shouldn't be the starter, but at the end of that game saturday night, no one had confidence in JJ bringing that team back. He doesn't have the ability to complete forward passes at a consistent rate. At what point do you get tired of him constantly taking sacks and throwing inaccurately?

With Lee, at least you have the opportunity to move the ball down field. By dropping 8 into coverage against JJ you eliminate the threat of a positive pass play. His pocket presence isn't there and he's not able to move around in the pocket and buy time to throw the ball. Don't mistake "escapability" for "pocket presence" There's a reason the peyton, eli, and brees aren't sacked nearly as often as many of their mobile counterparts.

I said before the season started that I thought Lee would get major playing time yet in his career either due to bad performance or injury. I have seen nothing to convince otherwise that this won't happen.

JJ has major issues all around... the one thing he doesn't do is turnover the ball. JJ has a super huge windup, which makes the ball very late when WRs break, he doesn't know how to step up in the pocket, he panics when he does step up... he more or less runs up and doesn't look up field and to me he is now doiing a terrible job at the option... and has been for the last few weeks. JJ doesn't go through progressions at all... it's one WR and when that isn't there it's panic city. He drops back way too far making himself a easy target for the DEs.

Lee's only big problem is staring down WRs..... now that is a big one and if not corrected will cost you a game.

If you are going to either switch or give Lee a few snaps... after the bye weeks makes sense and is where I mentioned 2-3 weeks ago would be a good opportunity to re-evaluate.

The coaches see what is happening in practice AND what is happening in games. As far as Lee is concerned, they have made the decision that JJ is the man and they are going to stick with him until they feel that he is no longer the best option. By playing JJ, Miles has said that with all things considered (not just from the view of the couch) JJ is the better man. That is why he is the coach and makes the big bucks. I know that many on here probably think that I am selling out my opinion and not thinking critically. Nope, I just know when to bow down to an expert when I am confused about what is going on. I am confused. I don't have all of the information and I don't have the experience. And neither do any of you or you would be getting the big bucks. This is a very tricky situation with Lee. I will trust the expert.

OK, now to speculation as if I were Miles...

Lee would get killed out there with this O-line. Period. No other discussion needed. It would not be a choice between a pick 6 and 30 points. It would be multiple pick 6's, 0 points for us, and complete meltdown.

With RS, I really have no idea. Very very very strange. Miles continues to harp on how they need to play him more and yet they don't. Who's team is this? Miles or Crowton? Of course he has fumbled... This one is bizzarro.

I see nothing wrong with the OL pass protection now their run blocking has been very suspect... that's SEC football and playing against Florida. The Miss State game was very telling... there was a good pocket and he didn't step up ... DE just go to a spot 10-12 yards deep.

And you wonder why people call you an idiot. You dont see anything wrong with the pass blocking, are you serious. Miles himself said that they have to block. When you only have a few seconds to throw the ball because a lineman barreling down on you, then there is a problem with the offensive line. Like it has been all year long. When he does get good blocking he drives the ball down the field, like the drive against Georgia. JJ held the ball to long on alot of plays, there is no excuse for that. But to say that the offensive line has no problem pass protecting is ignorant and intellectually dishonest, but what should I expect from you.

Now heres the quote from Miles himself.

Lets see how you spin that direct quote from Miles in your favor.

People call people all sorts of things... I was right on the money with JJ. You can't make up your freaking mind what you think.... you said LEE was going to be great then a month later you threw him under the bus. Then you got on my case for saying JJ was suspect... hahahah... give me a freaking break. You are a joke.

Run blocking yes, line is very suspect... pass blocking I am sorry if you can't step up in the pocket you will be lucky to get to 2 Mississippi in the SEC. That's SEC football, you don't hold on to the ball... that the same thing JaMarcus could never figure out..... 1,2,3 by three you better have the ball out of your hand.

His biggest flaw can't be coached out... long windy mechanic throw... ie Jason Campbell and Aaron Brooks... perfect for rollouts.... terrible for a pocket passer. He is good enough to get you 7-10 wins a year with the talent LSU has around him, not good enough to get you 11-13 games. IMHO

To be honest any QB you put back there is going to have a hard time... the OC sucks been saying it for a while now.

Your still an idiot thats apparent, Your not right on the money with anything. Your blatant failure to see the problem in the offensive line is idiotic. When you give a QB more time he makes better decisions, but to write a guy off after 5 games, with a 4-1 record is stupid, I dont expect anything less out of you.
Its JJ fault that he holds the ball to long on some plays, but alot of his sacks are a direct result of poor blocking and you can continue to deny that but most folks watching games can see that. I just dont know why you cant.

You are the joke and it doesnt take me to prove that. You are doing that yourself, Im just pointing it out along with other people on this forum. Its up to you to get the picture, we just put the paint brush in your hand.

I was 100% on the money... I said JJ was suspect and you didn't even know what that meant. So you start with the "idiot" statements then I show you how completely stupid some of your past statements are... I don't know how you show yourself out here.

Run blocking suspect, pass blocking has been fine... you are not going to sit back there for 10 seconds.... sorry it isn't going to happen. You step up in the pocket.... one freaking step up to give you time, this can possibly be corrected.

I didn't write the guy off... if they keep playing him I have no problem with that... he is good for 7-10 wins a year. He is going to have a hard time really improving because the defenses know how to play him...

You can't coach that long wideup out of his throw... so any improvements by him will be limited because at the end of the day he can't get the ball out any quicker. Everything else can be improved with coaching.... the big huge mechanics of his throw can't be.

1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi, move up in pocket if you have to, 3 Mississippi ball better be out by this time.

JJ can improved or coached on:
    - not dropping back so far in the pocket
    - stepping up in the pocket
    - throwing the ball away when nothing is there
    - looking up field
    - actually looking through progression

JJ can't improve or be coached on:
    - Huge mechanics of his throwing.... way too slow

He is good enough to get you 7-10 wins a year if you have the kind of talent he has around him.... no way you get to 11-13 wins. IMHO

He's not horrible... but no improvement what so ever.... I was say serious regression the last two weeks.... this is playing out EXACTLY like I said it would.

Im sorry you just dont get it. 10 seconds my azz, dont sensationalize, I know you cant help it, but dont do it in this instance. Ive admitted he held the ball to long in some instances. Its just to bad that you cant be honest about the pass blocking.
I'll give you a chance to address the quote I posted from Miles. Because maybe your a better coach than he is or maybe you see better than he does on passing plays.
Please explain that quote, because what he is saying and what you are saying is totally different.
    Who's right?

I show myself here because I am usually sensible, I dont make alot of idiotic statements like you do. People dont call me an idiot on a regular basis, like they do with you. Just like your assessment on the defense, which was idiotic.

Of course you don't make idiotic statements... that is what all cavemen think.

I called this one to the tee..... I said they better get JJ some experience in the first 4 games in passing from the pocket or once they got to real SEC football he would be in major crap. Boy what happened... everyone was riding me about the Scott up the middle play not working... guess what that crap don't work against good teams.... yeah, I love it how I called all this stuff and it has turned out exactly how I SUSPECTED it would. I guess you can go back to rewriting history books while you are at it.

I see nothing wrong with the o-line pass protecting... all he has to do is step up and look down field... guys are open, his problem he has no confidence.... 1.) because the OC didn't let him pass from the pocket like I warned about in the first 4 game 2.) because his mechanics take too long

" Because maybe your a better coach than he is or maybe you see better than he does on passing plays."

I have never believe Miles is a great coach, maybe a great guy but not a great coach. I would say I am Mr. Obvious... I called it like it was and my gut and that is the way it has turned out.

1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi, step up, 3 Mississippi ball better be gone or you are going to get sacked.

I am tired of talking about this with you...... you can go back to rewriting history.
