After OSU's last OT MNC game, i like our chances...:yelwink2: Here's to hoping that it's a great game, showcasing how talented BOTH of these teams are, and how they are not only the most deserving, but the best teams in CFB
I usually see only 2 or 3 OSU games a year so I definitely don't have the same info or perspective that you would have about your team. It's not a perception it's a reality:hihi: :hihi: :hihi: Year after year Ohio State is a team to be reckoned with, I'm not trying to sell the Buckeyes short by any means. LSU is just now getting to where OSU has been. However the SEC IS Gods gift to college football and is better than the big 10 nine out of every ten years. I fully expect quality teams from any conference to show up, play hard and win some games against quality teams from any conference, OSU in the BCSCG included. However IMO and IMO only I feel if both teams show up and play to their full potential LSU should win the game. There is no guarantee how either team will show therefore either team can win. I expect to see a close game and I hope LSU wins but I wouldn't bet the house on either team.
although I think that 9 of 10 years is an exaggeration, I agree with most of what you've said here. Last year's buckeye team was every bit as loaded as this year's LSU team. (Avg. margin of victory, including Texas, before UM, was like 30 points--probably an exageration, cause i don't have it in front of me). I'm sure to get some hecklers here. Mentally, I think they have been challenged more by a much more difficult SEC schedule than OSU had last year, and so they are much more likely to show up ready to play. I'll respectfully disagree on the big ten being as weak this year, as having watched a TON of B10 football, including this year, they are definitely on the upswing IMO. Here's to a great game between the two BEST teams in CF, may the best team win.
