didnt even watch USC much less get caught up in anything. plus they have a freshman qb and washington does not. im going on typical pac 10 games vs usc. theyve won the last 8 or so titles and will again. washington was 0-12 and 0 for their last 14. they arent suddenly good despite what your eyes may have told you. you folks are the ones buying the bill of goods up in seattle. they are no better than san jose st who sucks ass. washington will suck. i have no clue what LSU will do. likely struggle more than most expected if i had to guess.
I watched. USC is talented and good. San Jose State was no competition. My only point is that you cannot draw many conclusions from that game. I'm not "buying a bill of goods" about the Huskies. They are better than everyone thought they would be, including LSU. They are better coached now as it's obvious that Willingham cannot coach at the D1 level. His best trait is knowing how many to go for on extra points. I will wait and see how the Tigers look this weekend. If Vandy puts up that kind of yardage on our D, I will be concerned. I think the problems were more mental than anything else last week. We'll see.
We have one here in South Florida (and possibly others that I don't know about). Well, had. It changed names in the past year.
no of course not. ive been saying that all along. thats why vegas always wins with those numbers. people overreact-always- after anticipating that first game of the season as it comes and goes and drawing conclusions burnt into their brain. but i am worried about vandi. teams that usually run well have the advantage in a game and vandi rushed for 400 plus i believe against a nobody-west. ky. if our dline sucks again, this one may be too close for comfort. its hard to fathom a vandi team running the ball and controlling the clock against us though. that would suck.
Agree with LaSalle. UW had an entire off-season to prepare for that game and went in healthy. They played their a$$es off and fell a bit short due to a discrepancy in talent and depth. When UW plays USC the Huskies will be coming off their first win (Idaho) since 2007. If healthy, they will be very fired up for USC. I see a similar result to UW-LSU. UW will play a high-adrenaline first half and fall a bit short in the second half. You guys aren't happy, but an ugly win in the far corner of the country in the first game of the year is not a bad result
