It seems like both LSU and tOSU could claim the Gods were watching over them this year. LSU had most all their big games at home.... and those games were close enough to cause wonder of what might have happened had they been on the road. They also got Virginia Tech at home early when the Hokies had not found anything to resemble an offense. tOSU had an "off year" schedule-wise, with "no one" wedged between two years of home and away's versus Texas (when the Horns were more than worthy) and home and away versus Southern Cal starting next year. Also Cincinnati had spun off their schedule. They could have easily lost early. But the Gods are still active, imo, by making this "oddest of years" conclude in what will be basically a home game for the Tigers. .... so the "our" year thingy probably does belong to LSU. These God guys thought of everything, didn't they?
