Ask for the thread, topic, what George is doing tonight is how you keep the refs out of it. You decimate your opponent.
I've always felt like this, especially freeze frame. The most common video records at 30 frames per second. They're going over video frame by frame and finding one frame that proves a receiver lost control of the ball for 1/30th of a second? Please. My feeling (and I admit this would be difficult in college, but should certainly be the case in the NFL) is that there should be a replay official on site in the booth at every game, and he can call - or overturn - anything. But he cannot stop the game on his own authority, he has to make his judgement in real time, looking at the video. If he can spot a holding missed on the field from watching a replay before the next play starts, he can call it.
I saw many infractions by the georgia offensive line that were not called. Would have made a difference in the outcome no because Georgia was that much better but i didnt understand why they looked the other way on Georgia holding and called TCU on every little thing. Georgia had the players but kirby smart isnt the best coach he just had the most talent.
That is part of the deal man. We won a LOT of games under ol Les because of this very same thing. We just outclassed most of our opponents in talent.
I once read that the SEC Championship is determined on National Signing Day. Those days are in the past, but the sentiment remains.
