reminds me of the 1959 Tigers, ranked #1 when we beat #3 Ole Miss 7-3 on Halloween night thanks to Cannon's kick return...then we end the season with a rematch vs #2 Ole Miss in New Orleans, and they whoop us 21-0 Sucks having to beat the same team twice, because when you beat them the first time, it puts a huge chip on their shoulder also, our play makers didn't make any plays last night like they've done all season....our defense forced zero turnovers last night, we didn't have any great kick returns, our stellar coverage on kick returns got gashed, etc LSU has been playing out of their minds all season but its impossible to play like that every game. Still, our boys sure had one hell of a season and I'm proud of them. Sure, I'd rather be in Bama's shoes...I wish we'd lost the 1st time we played them and beat them in the rematch for the national title, but we still had a hell of a season...SEC Champions, and we beat the national champs, the pac 12 and rose bowl champs, the big east and orange bowl champs, etc.
