Thanks for that Vball. That gave me chills. Called the HAKA. Blend of Samoan and Hawaiian pre-battle chants.
I don't for a minute think hawaii would have the chance to pass nearly as often as in their regular schedule, you can put those numbers up playing a WAC schedule and mashed Potato gravy OOC. This would be the worst possible matchup for Hawaii. LSU would destroy their O line and put a hurting on Hawaii. Brennan is a great QB and even in that conference those numbers are exceptional, but I don't believe he'd have the same success in a game against LSU that he had in the regular season.
About Hawaii They are undefeated so far and two of their victories are against DIV1AA opponents. Last I saw their SOS was 119th (last place) That being said, I wouldn't want to play them. They have nothing to lose. Like someone said earlier, it sets itself up like OU playing Boise State last year. If you lose, it is really embarrassing. I really think you guys could knock the slobber out of them if you did play them, but it isn't worth it. IMO. Good luck next week in your CCG. Geaux Tigers (edit not the Mizzou Tigers)
There's an Australian Rules football club in New Zealand, nicknamed the All-Blacks, that does the Haka on the field as a pre-game ritual right in front of the other team. The All-Blacks are named such because all of their players are Maori, which have Pacific islander lineage.
Crip despises rugby. He'll have a fit when he sees any suggestion him emulate what rugby players do, he has this annual territorial battle with them at his tailgate location (Next to the rugby field). Great point.
maybe we could get some mardi gras indians to perform during pregame. that would counter the battle chant, eh? i could see tiger band drum line laying out a kick azz rhythm with them.
