Vern is actually a huge LSU fan. Everyone saying CBS likes Bama over LSU is just a homer that hears what they want to hear.

    You do realize that if I were Vern, and I had over 1200 posts on a LSU forum that it would just prove my point more. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Posting doesn't necessarily make you an LSU fan. See posts from Tusk Times and those fans from other schools.

Game by Game Comparison (look at the opponents as well).

Spencer Ware is the most underrated RB in the country. He wont be featured on TV because he isn't elite in any one category, but he is solid at everything. It is pretty fun to watch him punish people in the 2nd half after the defense has been worn down.

I dont have a problem with Danielson's comment. I think they have similar styles, but Trent is likely the best back in the country - I would take Richardson over Lattimore because Trent Richardson has separation speed. I think Ware is underrated and his stats will be scewed by the amount of work that other backs will get, but I just dont think he is in the conversation for best RBs in the nation, not yet anyway.

Trent doesn't need my endorsement, but I haven't seen the size, strength and then that speed from too many backs, ever. Eddie Lacy is a very good back and his speed and balance in a big body is also unusual. Fowler finally got into the Vandy game with Lacy out this week with turf toe and numerous times exploded into the pile. Just don't see depth being an issue for Bama or LSU at any point this season.

    I'm gonna rank some RBs...

    #1-Richardson
    #2-Ware
    #3-Ford
    #4-Blue
    #5-Lacy

    We win.

But really...who cares about how they've done up to this point? LSU certainly has done enough in the running game to easily win every game they've played. Bama has as well. What matters is how they do when we play each other. Trent Richardson hasn't done very well against the Tigers in his career. Lacy is a good backup, but nowhere near the complete back Richardson is, or Ware.

Let Bama continue to roll along. LSU will do the same. Then on November 5th, all of these questions will be answered. And I for one don't give a crap if Richardson outplays Ware when we play them...as long as LSU wins. Who cares which of us has the better running back?? Ware's a true sophomore getting his first real playing time of his career this year. Richardson will be playing for the Colts next season, and Ware will be playing for the LSU Tigers.

I'm not scared of Bama. Bama should be scared of us. Check out my math...

    LSU + TM7 > Bama + homefield
